To provide customers with real-time machine updates and more insight into daily operations, John Deere has announced new technological advancements for its OnLink platform. OnLink allows users to monitor their fleet of equipment to reduce downtime while improving the execution of routine tasks on the golf course.

“We are thrilled to introduce new technological advancements to the golf industry, further driving our commitment to provide smart technologies and enhanced machine capabilities to our customers,” said David Anderson, product manager for John Deere. “Our continued innovations in technology and production have helped us stay a leader in the golf industry while continuing to elevate technology’s place in the game of golf.”

Some of the new technology that has been added to OnLink includes basic mapping, usage analysis, and the incorporation of data from JDLink™ telematics. The mapping feature now allows users to keep track of a machine’s exact location at any time. JDLink technology provides customers with the data they need to identify machine efficiencies and shortfalls. In turn, they can make adjustments whenever necessary.

With OnEquip updates within the OnLink platform, operators can reduce the time it takes to manually enter time on non-telematic equipment. They will also gain insight into estimated summaries for the cost of machine operation. With this data, users can make more informed business decisions in the future.

The Machine Analyzer and Field Analyzer features can also be linked through OnLink for easier navigation between all of the digital solutions. JDLink features, such as user analysis and telematic mapping, will be accessible within the operations center.
